Der thematische Bogen spannt sich von Konzepten der Wissensgesellschaft, Ansätzen des organisationalen Lernens und Wissensmanagements, Wissenserfassung und -bewertung, Wissensgenerierung über Probleme der Verbreitung und Nutzbarmachung von Wissen bis hin zu Fragen nach neuen Führungsprinzipien und Implementierungsstrategien. Die jeweiligen Themenkomplexe sind aufeinander abgestimmt und folgen der Abgrenzung einzelner Wissensprozesse, die aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven beleuchtet werden. Prozessübergreifend wird das Unternehmen als organisationales Wissenssystem analysiert, dem Erfassen und Bilanzieren der Ressource Wissen nachgegangen und die zentrale Bedeutung von Unternehmens- und Lernkulturen für praktiziertes Wissensmanagement herausgearbeitet.
